Our Services

Our brains are amazing! They constantly take in information from the world around us, and they adapt and change based on our experiences and thoughts…for better or worse. Maybe this is the beginning of your recovery or maybe you’ve worked hard to feel like yourself for a long time. No matter where you’re starting out, the brain has potential to adapt and change for the better.

Your Well Brain starts here.

  • It can be especially frustrating to find a provider who understands the brain but who is also skilled in treating high-performing adolescent and adult athletes. Concussions can cause headache, dizziness, neck pain, imbalance, and difficulty tolerating exercise. Sometimes these symptoms don’t go away quickly; it’s almost like the brain gets in the habit of feeling this way. Brainwell’s targeted approach identifies the specific problem(s) contributing to continued symptoms after a concussion through evidence-based assessment. Specific physical therapy treatments train the brain to communicate more effectively with the body again, resulting in less sensitivity and improved performance. Services are available in-person at your home or via telehealth.

  • Neurologic injuries and diseases can cause dizziness. Sometimes dizziness can happen all on its own. Either way, dizziness doesn’t need to be debilitating. Brainwell’s trained vestibular specialist can identify the specific cause of dizziness or imbalance (sometimes the brain, sometimes the inner ear, sometimes both) and provide effective physical therapy treatment. Physical therapy teaches individuals with dizziness to recover what they can and compensate for what they can’t. Even chronic dizziness and/or pain can be improved by training specific coping strategies. Services are available in-person at your home or via telehealth.

  • Have you participated in vestibular physical therapy in the past and feel like you need a tune-up every once in a while? Sometimes vertigo episodes can come back, or maladaptive strategies like neck pain can return, but it can be hard to get in to see a neurologist or begin a comprehensive physical therapy program. If you’re already an expert in your body and in your symptoms, but need a little guidance to stay in control, Brainwell’s wellness program may be right for you! Services are available in-person in your home or via telehealth.

  • Are you a physical therapist who finds themselves asking their more experienced colleagues, “Can I pick your brain for a minute?” Are you thinking about pursuing your NCS or taking continuing education in vestibular rehab? Do you have a complicated dizziness case where you could use a little more support? Book mentorship through our scheduling system as a one-time or ongoing conversation! And stay tuned because Brainwell’s continuing education platform is coming soon!
